Would you like to hear about a Baby Deer that was rejected by its own mother because of a change in its image?

When you stand out from the crowd, you may experience rejection. This is what occurred to our protagonist when his mother rejected him due to his uniqueness.

Dragon or this sweet little baby was born on a farm in Michigan near the town of Deer Tracks junction. Because he was born piebald, his mother refused to accept him. He appeared very different from other people since only some areas of his body were pigmented. The 1% of newborn deer affected by this illness have a very low chance of survival due to their compromised immune systems. Even if this kind of deer were to be born, they would not survive for long because of a number of factors, including the fact that their white coloring would make them an obvious target for predators.

Dragon was lucky to be born in this deer park, since even though his mother didn’t want him, other people here took him in.

Farm owner Hilary Powell said her almost-19-year-old son called him Dragon because he understood he had to be strong to live. A whitetail deer’s tendency is to reject fawns that don’t have a high chance of surviving, and being a piebald poses a number of health hazards. The white makes him easy to spot, making him a sitting duck for predators; he also has diminished hearing and vision compared to other deer, making him even more vulnerable.

Unfortunately, after just one year, this adorable young deer succumbed to his health problems. In a Facebook post, Powell said

“Well, this is an update I was hoping to avoid making. We tried everything to save our baby Dragon, but he passed away. It’s been a rough period, and he’ll be sorely missed.

Even though this cute infant is no longer with us, we have images of him to ensure that he will never be forgotten by his human lovers. Share these images with other animal lovers if you enjoyed seeing him, okay?
