Dogs are renowned for their unwavering loyalty. They wait patiently when instructed to do so by their masters. They feel betrayed since their allegiance is not returned. What’s more, despite their obvious disadvantages, these puppies never stop being hopeful about humankind. Robbies is one of those endearing, devoted critters that has made a life for itself caring for humans despite being abandoned as a baby. Read on to hear his heartfelt story.
Robbies went with his owners to a Dollar General store in Houston, Texas. After telling him to wait outside while they went shopping, they left. He did as he was told and waited patiently at the door, but he was never seen being taken home. Since the puppy may have been carried here in a truck, he has no idea where his folks are or how to go home. Robbie took refuge beneath a plastic chair in front of the shop since he had nowhere else to go.
For three long weeks, the puppy waited anxiously. The tiny brown dog would wait at the front door every day in the hopes that his owners would be among the visitors. While Robbie was in the area of the store, the hoped-for reunion never materialized.
Kristin Erwin, a kind woman who often helped with dog rescues, saw the concerned canine as he nervously looked about to make sure no one was in danger. The cashier was interrogated about his background. The worker also disclosed that the shop had been asked to feed him, so she knew his owners would return for him later. But Erwin was skeptical, so she provided her contact info in case Robbie’s carers were late.
After that, the shop contacted, and, sure enough, Robbie’s owners were unable to be found and he required her assistance. Erwin scooped him up swiftly, bribing the clerk’s helper with goodies and luring him into her vehicle. The woman cared for the puppy for a time before she noticed that he was unresponsive, silent, and cold. Robbie maintained an unflappable demeanor.

The overweight dog was eventually sent to a new foster home thanks to Lola’s Lucky Day. He was prepared to be adopted by a loving family that would give him all the love and cares he deserved.
