Cat Looks Just Like A Bunny
Peanut and nine other cats were taken to a shelter after their owner died. When Peanut first arrived, it was clear that he was out of the ordinary. Not only is he half blind and deaf, but he also does not resemble most cats. Peanut is very beautiful, and the shelter isn’t sure if it’s due to something that happened to him or if he was born that way.
Peanut’s face and ears are positioned so that he almost looks like a bunny rather than a cat, and it didn’t take long for someone to fall in love with that exquisite face.
“I knew I couldn’t leave him there when I saw him,” Peanut’s mother, Sydney Benham, told The Dodo.
After bonding with Peanut and hearing his story, Benham decided she had to take him home, which she did in September 2020. The shelter estimated Peanut’s age to be around 8 years old, and it didn’t take long for the gentle senior cat to settle into his new home and display his endearing old-man attitude.

“It’s difficult to put his personality into words,” Benham added. “He is unique and only ‘he.'” He is gentle and caring, and he likes to chew on his toes and play with his fingers. I believe he is far sharper than he appears, and that he purposefully ignores me or does things that irritate me, such as jumping on my table. His handicaps do not deter him at all! “He knows no bounds!”
When people see Peanut’s charming, unusual face, they can’t help but fall in love with him. Peanut is one-of-a-kind, and his family wouldn’t have him any other way.
“When people see him, they usually fall in love with him right away,” Benham said. “How could they not?” the narrator asks. He’s a wonderful young man.”
