Under the darkness, he seemed to be part of the street scene, a silent observer of everyone coming in and out. The staff said that he was there every night, waiting for blessings from customers’ leftover food. But tonight, it seemed unlucky, because there was nothing left on the plates.😭💔
We noticed him while we were eating. His eyes were deep, as if hoping that someone would give him at least a little. We thought of Totskie, the former stray dog that we rescued. He used to be like this—full of hope, but strengthened by days of waiting.
We couldn’t stand it. We ordered food, extra rice, and handed it to him. He closed his eyes for a moment, as if grateful, before savoring each bite. He was there every night, the vendor said. We wondered, could someone else be doing this for him? What if the door was closed?😭💔
As we watched him eat, the thought crossed our minds: “Could he be adopted?” But it was difficult. There were things that needed to be taken care of, and so far, we had only been able to provide one dinner.
Before we left, we said a silent prayer for him… Hopefully, someone would come to care for him, give him a home, and he wouldn’t have to wait in the dark. As we drove away, we left him on the street, with a full stomach and another night of waiting. But in our hearts, we hoped that this was the beginning of a turning point in his story.
Sending prayers for this homeless dog…it,s so sad seeing him wandering everyday for foods and blessing from others….Please adopt him….🙏🙏😢❤️
